VPNArea Apps for iOS and Android
What is it?
VPNArea Apps are excellent little pieces of software that you as our member can use to connect to our servers via your mobile device. They're both available in AppStore and Google Play. Unlike most VPN companies we have our own Apps which gives you the benefit of many extra features that make using VPN a pleasure
Any requirements?Approximately 5-40mb of space is required, along with an iOS/Android operating system.
Easy to install?Guides for both iOS (iphone/ipad) and Android installations are available, with approximately 2 steps. We designed the apps with the ease-of-use in mind/p>
Available for both iOS & Android
You can download the app straight from your device, via App Store or Google Play. While the Android App is completely standalone, the iOS app requires you to install a second app called OpenVPN Connect, all are free.
Automatic servers Updates
It's a real time-saving feature to automatically get the latest new servers. Most VPN companies will ask you to manually update your servers every week, with us you don't have to move your finger
Speed Testing
Test all the servers for speed and see the results coloured in Green, Orange or Red depending on their speed
IP location & Connection status
The front page of the App will always show you the current status of the connection and the current IP address with it's corresponding country flag
Servers sorting and Favourites
Now you can create Favourites list by pressing the "Star" button. So if you only like USA servers, add your favourites and always find them on top. You can also sort servers by Speed or A-Z
Connection settings
Tweak your connection settings if you want to change Protocol or Port in the Settings tab (wrench icon)
